Cameron had his 2 month check up yesterday and got a clean bill of health from his doctor. He was happy with how Cameron is progressing and was impressed to hear that he rolled over from his stomach to his back at 3 weeks. As you can see below Cameron is a long and lean guy.
Height – 23.82” (72.86%)
Weight – 11 lbs. 14 oz (30.79%)
Head Circumference – 40.1 cm (68.22%)
Favorite Things:
- Eating and sucking of course
- Laying on the floor and moving (kicking, cooing, smiling, looking around, being talked to , etc.)
- Bath time or shower time
- Miracle blanket and white noise (best thing ever for helping him sleep)
- Bouncing, walking or moving of any sort
He is starting to sleep better as of the last week or two. He typically goes to bed between 8:30 and 9pm and sleeps for about 5-6 hours then eats and will go back to sleep until about 6:30 or 7am. Sometimes after eating again he will go right back to sleep for a few hours but typically he is awake and wants to play for an hour or so then he takes a nice long nap again. During the day he is still eating every 2.5-3 hours but he is much more efficient at breastfeeding so it takes him about 15-30 minutes depending on how hungry he is. This used to take 1-1.5 hours so I felt that all I did was feed him all day. It is much nicer to have some freedom from the couch!
We finally found a daycare that we like! It is an in home daycare in Seatac that happens to be about 6 blocks from Ryan’s new house. It is small and she only takes up to 6 kids at a time and one infant at a time (that will be Cameron). So he will get lots of snuggle time still and the lady who runs it has very similar values and parenting view points which is great! Her name happens to be Marsha too (if you don’t know this is the same name as the person who used to babysit Ryan and I and we are still great friends today)! So I think it was a sign!!! He will start full time on September 4th when I go back and he will go two 1/2 days prior to me going back so I can get used to the change as well as Cameron.
